Hodnet Angling Club

Hodnet Angling Club - HAC - is the place to be in Shropshire.

We have full membership at three levels. Ordinary membership, Disabled and Pensioners and also Junior membership. The relevant fees can be found on our join page [see menu on the left].

Hodnet Angling Club waters are many and varied with fishing across the board. Waters accessible can be found by clicking the menu button. We have river fishing and canal fishing, plus many pools to which we are adding annually as new pools become available.

Match fishing within the Club is active and well supported. Our match dates are advertised within the site for those members interested and our Match Secretary [ Mr. R. Cooper] is always available to welcome new members to join the matches.

At HAC we pride oursleves on being friendly and family orientated with ongoing events throughout the season.

We have our very own HAC Caps which members can purchase from any Committee Member and we encourage all members to purchase a cap to help our funding. All proceeds from the sale of HAC caps and other items go to the Treasurer and help to pay for new waters and help with the maintenance of those we already have.

Working Parties - As a member of HAC you are expected to take a full and vital role in the upkeep of our waters. This involves taking part in our working parties which are organised by those Committee Members with such duites.

The dates of the working parties on particular waters will be published in advance and at those times the waters involved will be closed for fishing. This is a necessary part of being an HAC member and we encourage all members who are able to take an active role in this activity.
